Elwood Safety provides NAIL certified testing for:

· Rubber gloves (Class 00 through Class 4)
· Rubber blankets
· Rubber sleeves
· Insulated line hose
· Dielectric hardhats
· Dielectric footwear
· Hoods 
· Covers
· Switchboard matting

We also provide testing for:

· Insulated hot sticks
· Grounding clusters


Test Procedure:

1) Upon arrival, your equipment is given an identification number and is logged into our system. 

2) Next, gloves, blankets, line hose and sleeves are washed with a mild detergent and dried.

3) Equipment is then machine tested according to class as mandated by ASTM and OSHA standards. 

4) After machine testing, all items undergo visual inspection for cuts, abrasions, embedded particles, or any other condition that could affect dielectric integrity.

5) If the item passes, it is stamped with the test and retest dates before being sealed in a clear plastic bag. 

6)  We include an individual test record for each item, along with a comprehensive report of all items in the order.  We keep a log of the test history as well.

7) Any failed equipment is marked as failed and is either returned to you or discarded.  (This is based on your preference.)  We carry a full stock of replacement inventory for your convenience.
